Since July 2006, I have been working in Millward Brown Istanbul office, as a Business Planning Consultant.
As a member of our Client Services team, I am responsible for providing two kinds of consultancy:
1) Recommendations on how to improve advertisements' creative strategies and their actionable creative ideas.
2) Competition analysis reports for several brand categories, consumer insights and helpful knowledge integration solutions for "senior level" marketing executives.
In terms of my formal education, I am a computer engineer graduated from I.T.U. in 1989. After a short trial of industry experience in Siemens, however, I decided to reposition the route of my professional life: So, my career in advertising started as a copywriter fourteen years ago, and gradually changed its direction towards strategic planning in five different agencies.

On the other hand, ten years ago, I had a temporary opportunity to work as a part time teaching assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University’s Department of Media and Communication Systems, where I lectured a course called “Trends and Lifestyles in Contemporary Society”.
This short academic job experience has motivated me to indulge into a lifetime learning process on sociological and psychological dimensions of consumer behaviors.
