Dr B V Babu is Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean of Educational Hardware Division (EHD) at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
Obtained PhD from IIT-Bombay.

Coordinator for PETROTECH Society at BITS-Pilani.

22 years of Teaching, Research, Consultancy, and Administrative experience.
Guided 3 PhD students, 28 ME Dissertation students and 24 Thesis students and around 170 Project students. Currently guiding 6 PhD candidates, 2 Dissertation students and 9 Project students and has 4 research projects from UGC, DST & KKB Academy.
Published around 140 research papers, 5 books and wrote several chapters in books and lecture notes.
Invited Chief Guest and delivered Keynote addresses at many international & national conferences. Organized numerous Seminars & Conferences at BITS-Pilani. Chaired 10 Technical Sessions at various International & National Conferences. Delivered 23 invited lectures at various IITs and Univeristies.
Editorial Board Member of three International Journals and expert reviewer for 19 International Journals.
Reviewed four books. PhD Examiner for four candidates.
