My name is Jeffrey Keating. Over the course of my 20+ year career, I have developed software and directed technical product teams of up to 100+ professionals, including software, hardware, test, customer service and quality disciplines. I have directed organizations that span the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to test and customer release, with an on-time and on-budget completion rate of over 90%. I was with Motorola for a period of 18 years prior to joining Freescale as a result of the spin-off of Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector. At Freescale for the past 3 years, I was responsible for directing a team developing advanced protocol software solutions for the WLAN, WiMAX, and 3GPP-LTE networking spaces.
As a result of my technical and managerial efforts, I have been fortunate to have achieved a number of key accomplishments. I have been able to release numerous paging and cellular infrastructure products to customers that span the globe. This has resulted in establishing and sustaining significant product revenue levels for the company. It has also provided me with the opportunity to undertake and complete a one year expatriate assignment in Beijing, China.
