Jere Crosby’s Summary
I have over 14 years of implementing and executing marketing programs and events that have created large increases in revenue. My experience began at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I managed the Wildflower Triathlon in Monterey and worked with the executive director to implement existing sponsorship programs. While in San Luis Obispo, I began a 12 year career in the radio industry. In my early days in radio, my experience expanded by learning how to work without a budget, yet coming up with creative ideas and events that I implemented such as the San Luis Obispo Home Show and the Rock and Roll On Air Auction.
My career began to jump to bigger markets, and my additional experience includes managing up to 20 people at one time in promotion departments inclusive of implementing human resources strategies, timesheets, and employee manuals. I became successful working with company directives to develop marketing budgets to increase revenue. I developed large scale profitable events including “A Day in the Zone” and the “U-Fest”. Following my radio career, I switched to the concert industry where I was able to work with multiple sponsors to implement their programs during tours at concert venues up and down the west coast through print, radio, television and on-line media. I developed the “30 days of Music” promotion for the San Francisco Chronicle.
I bring incredible attention to detail to each program while working with vendors and staff to decrease expenses and increase profits. Developing creative ideas that win over businesses while reaching the goals of the client is what are the keys to my success.
