I am a veteran of the online and digital media world, being professionally involved since 1999 and playing a small part in shaping the landscape for music in the online space.

I started at indie TVT Records, helping to secure promotions for hugely successful acts including Lil Jon's breakout record "Kings of Crunk", Sevendust and Ambulance.

I was hired by Sony Music to run their word-of-mouth department in 2004, which included monitoring message boards, and introduced the executives to a fledgling site called MySpace. This culminated in my securing the first feature for the new MySpace Music brand with a band called Midtown.

For two years, I oversaw all online marketing and sales for Sony BMG Masterworks, our classical, film score and broadway division.

Currently, I am in charge of fan relations and CRM for Sony BMG, so basically my job is improving our interaction with fans of the music we're in charge of through the use of blogs, podcasts, message boards and other communication tools. I LOVE it.
