All through high school and college, John pursued his passion for building and racing motorcycles, where is talent for solving design problems first revealed itself, and carried over to his professional career in engineering. This experience with Trinity Forge, Snow Corporation and Delfacso spanned the disciplines of Quality Control, CAD/CAM technologies, cost estimating, design and industrial engineering.
John’s ability to see and connect the world through technical and practical points of view has taken him on a journey that has lead him to being an expert on publishing, production, and marketing challenges – including workflow design, and publishing automation. John has been most recently selected to the Adobe Freelancer Program and received his Adobe Expert standing.
Today John is a sought after consultant to companies challenging their status quo to improve their business’s processes and bottom line by discovering optimal workflows, integration tools, and data driven publishing solutions.
John has also served as Sales and Marketing manager for a company with less than $300K in revenue. Through redefining the product mix and services offerings, he built a marketing strategy / campign and sales team, which generated annual revenues of over $5 Mil in less than 30 months. Duing that same year, John had personal sales of $2.2 Million annual.
John has dealt with all levels of companies from small organizations to C-level public corporations. He has desiged software solutions for Coleman, Houston Chronicle, Sears, HEB and others over the last 10 years, with some still in place today.
He lives in Austin , Texas with his wife and daughter – and his schnauzer . He is a certified instructor of martial arts.
