Joao Dessa’s Summary
My career is somehow diverse, since I worked in R&D, Quality Management Consultancy, Process Development, and now Marketing as a Product Manager. Though my major is in Science, I developed over time a growing interest in business issues and management, an interest that started to grow while I was working as a Quality Management Consultant.
Therefore, taking a MBA was a logic step in my career and a move I believe gave me the skills and the necessary background to embrace a successful career in business. Marketing is the area where I developed more interesting skills, knowledge and experience during my MBA, and it is in the Marketing area as a Product Manager that I am developing my career right now.
As a Product Manager I have tasks such as developing Marketing Campaigns, Product Launch, Public Events, Write Business Proposals and Negotiating with clients.
As major assets in my CV I would like to point my International Experience, in Poland and USA, my experience in the Biotech Industry, my MBA, my multi language fluency and my experience as Business and Quality Consultant.
As mid term goals for my career I would highlight the following:
