Internship (Jan 2006 – May 2006) at Virology department of RIVM (Prof. Dr. M.P.G. Koopmans). With the use of fluorometric analysis of neuraminidase glycoprotein activity, the susceptibility of the influenza virus for oseltamivir was studied.
Major thesis (Mar 2004 – Nov 2005) at Virology department of ErasmusMC (Prof. dr. A.D.M.E. Osterhaus). The impact of an amino acid substitution in a T-helper cell epitope on the immune response to influenza A virus was studied.
