Previously, Karn was the Director of the Risk and Compliance Group, building and managing a top team of professionals providing audit, risk, security and compliance consulting to nationwide banking clients. During this time the Risk and Compliance Group experienced record sales growth and he earned consistently high marks from Compushare’s clients. Beginning with just three offerings, Karn was responsible for expanding the RCG service offerings to over fifteen unique business continuity, compliance and risk management services performed at clients‘ sites nationwide.

Prior to his role as Director of Risk and Compliance, Karn held the position of Director of Organizational Development, where he ran the Human Resource operations, recruiting, training and employee development functions.

Karn also worked for Walt Disney Pictures and Television and was responsible for the engineering of one of the world’s largest and most diverse computer networks. Highlights of his tenure at Disney include the design and installation of the IMAX theater network in Los Angeles for Fantasia 2000 and the incorporation of The Lion King at the Pantages Theatre into The Walt Disney network.
