Holding nearly two years of experience at RBC, while working part-time (for nearly three years) as a supervisor for the Toronto District School Board, Khaled Al-Qinneh earned his undergraduate degree (Bachelors of Commerce) in Information Technology Management in April 2007. Although he maintains a strong work history in the financial sector – where he was able to develop a spherical knowledge of the industry to build on his technical and business skills – he simultaneously strengthened his soft-skills by working for TDSB where he was more directly involved with people on a day-to-day basis to ensure a smooth run of various operations.
His passion for business translated into results very early on, earning him an honorary business certificate with his Ontario Secondary School Diploma. His drive for leadership and management led him to study the fields in his spare time, where he wrote over 20 papers on the topics of management and presentations after having read nearly 250 books in the respective fields. His continued excellence in business and technology quickly earned him the honorary ‘Dean’s List’ Standing.
Khaled’s wide range of accreditation and accomplishments only proves his keen sense of leadership and discipline. His enthusiasm to help at an early age launched a series of community involvements that involved senior homes, hospitals, and homeless shelters. These involvements have made him a dedicated mentor to over 55 youths today! He has also been accustomed to public speaking since the age of 19 with his largest crowd totaling 300 people.
