Countrywide Financial Corp, 1999-2006:
Began by managing the central web hosting operations group. 6 NT servers hosting 45 internal sites and 1 T1 connecting CFC to the Internet. Left with over 100 servers in operation, 250 sites, full HA infrastructure mirrored regionally via triangulated DS3.
Initiated and helped execute redesign, development and integration of all major company product web sites, and new account aggregration area. 6 months from start to finish, all sites turned up simultaneously as the CEO rung the NYSE bell to herald our name and stock symbol changes.
CFC initiatives:
1.) Ownership of Mercury ITG application instituting common PPM across both business and technology on a full enterprise license. Coming soon, integration with significant footprint of Mercury Interactive testing, QA and monitoring tools to form end-to-end technology management and governance system across some 70 corporate and business technology units.
2.) Transition of major PeopleSoft initiative from project to operations, establishing organizational and process relationships enabling Enterprise Technology to support Corporate HR, Finance and Financial planning, including ERP and EPM.
3.) Revitalization and reconfiguration of relationship with Siebel to enterprise status in support of major ET Business Intelligence and CFC CRM initiatives.
