Ryan Leirvik serves in the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD). Primary duties include the project management of the Defense Safety Enterprise System (DSES) and program control for the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS).
Previous to his work at OSD, Mr. Leirvik was a consultant with IBM where he developed a global technology outlook that identified six new mega-trends in technology and their impact on existing business operations.
Prior to working with IBM, Mr. Leirvik was in charge of 90 consumer products as an Assistant Category Manager for Henkel, KGAA. At Henkel, Mr. Leirvik launched a $3M retail product category while simultaneously increasing productivity three-fold in a turn-around operation at an international manufacturing plant.
Mr. Leirvik holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
