Being an IT professional for over 20 years working mainly in the area of IBM Mainframe systems I have developed a very good understanding of the z/OS and VSE platform along with all the related sub-systems such as TSO/ISPF, VSE, CICS, IMS DC/DB, DB2, VSAM, etc.
Working at Micro Focus for the last 12 years I helped a number of large coorperations in the banking, insurance and manufacturing industry to build their software development environments and life cycles targeting IBM Mainframes based on the Micro Focus devlopment tools.
In the course of the last four to five years,I have been focused more and more in migrating IBM legacy applications (COBOL, Assembler, PL/I) to open platforms such as Windows, Unix and Linux. To complete this effort I also helped customers to either extend or integrate the migrated application with other architectures (SOA / WebServices) or UI's.
