Mike now applies his broad knowledge of the satellite and cable industry and his vast experience in advertising and corporate communications to relationship management and business development. Mike is proud to represent a growing Fortune 200 company with nearly 30 years of business history, a culture of aggressive innovation and an impressive record of customer service; and to offer the highest quality and most reliable, easily scalable and cost-effective multi-site corporate communications solution available.
Before joining DNBS, Mike built and managed a digital broadcast and video production facility and a high-performing production team while simultaneously managing operations and directing live broadcasts for a subsidiary startup. For 8 years, Mike was Executive Producer for the largest national event in the DBS industry, working with Fortune 500 executives including Mark Cuban and Charlie Ergen, entertainers such as Jay Leno and Rascal Flatts, and speakers including Jeffrey Gitomer and Bill Clinton. Mike is centrally responsible for the first synergy of High Definition, digital projection and live satellite broadcasting technologies.
Mike started writing copy and designing print ads as a college sophomore, adding video production to his skill set by his senior year. Additional undergraduate accomplishments include two 4.0 terms and 4 Dean's List appearances; a US Congressional internship; working as an Editor/Reporter for the school newspaper; and holding multiple Fraternity offices including Treasurer and Philanthropy Coordinator, where he generated record charity donations. After graduating, Mike worked his way up the technical side of the TV business while also producing promotional campaigns. Eventually, Mike would add creative writing for web and multimedia to his portfolio, as well as distance learning and corporate training. Mike has completed over 100 hours of leadership training and completes an Executive MBA program in March, 2008.
