I am seeking a full-time job placement as a design engineer. My primary goal is to learn, to gain valuable experience and to contribute everything I can with my existing knowledge. I’m looking for a variety of interesting experiences to keep me challenged and continually learning new things. I believe my experiences in college and at Toyota have prepared me for an entry-level placement of this nature. Some day, I'd like to be involved with the production of concept and "green" vehicles.

In this contract position provided by Global Technology Associates, I prepared Catia V5 data for CAE analysis using surfacing and filleting techniques in the Generative Shape Design workbench. I also prepared data for vehicle paint visualization. Digital Mock-Up was used to examine vehicle openings. I created drawings in the Drafting workbench for other engineering departments. Working at the product level in Catia was a necessity. Toyota also supplied introductory training on other workbenches. Quick and effective teamwork was necessary to complete jobs in a timely manner, especially during high volume activity periods.

President and Event Coordinator of Swing Kids: I delegated tasks to other members, coordinated events and performances, and created and maintained relations with other clubs, professional instructors, musicians, and performers. I organized four workshop events that included instruction and live music. These events helped to make a profit and build a favorable reputation for the club. They also required an immense effort in teamwork with the other members, and in leadership on my part. In addition, I taught weekly classes in swing dance to over 30 people.
